He was the epitome of cool. Right in there with Steve McQueen.

Always thought Roger Moore was good, but Sean Connery was James Bond.

He was a Anti Gun hypocrite like a lot of so-called entertainers.

A fine actor. A joy to watch in both 007 and later work. I cannot say whether he comported himself as a gentleman, but he sure gave that impression.

What a sad day for the film industry. Sure, a bunch of those actors are liberal hippies...But they do keep me entertained. And he was one of the greats. RIP

Thanks for the enlightenment. I appreciate it. A lesson in everything not being exactly how we think it is.

I was 15 when Goldfinger first appeared on the silver screen. I had just obtained my youth drivers permit. I believe the year was 1964. My parents allowed me to take a family sedan and drive myself to downtown Cedar Rapids to see the picture. My Aunt had just purchased a black 1964 Lincoln Continental sedan, much like the one that was crushed in the movie. I was absolutely spellbound with the ultra cool Sean Connery, the cars, the sexy women, the Walther PPK, everything! I would guess that over the years, I’ve seen the movie 50 times, and I don’t tire of it. And, by the way about 15 years ago I purchased an original low mileage 1964 Lincoln Continental black sedan. I fully restored the car and when I drive it, I think about those James Bond days of my youth.
