I bought my little girl a nerf gun. She shoots at me in the garage. I put on a face shield and put one hand over my groin area and play the part of "the boogey man" I already have her using the rudimentary sights and after playing this game for a couple of days she is getting solid center mass hits about two thirds of the time. when she misses it sometimes sails over one shoulder or the other. More often her misses are a little high or low, right in the face shield of somewhere in the pelvic region. I am convinced that in a few years she will be more than adequate at hitting a home intruder at indoor distances with a real gun.

Considering the particulars, an odd mindset.

We did the same thing as kids back in the 1960's playing cops and robbers, cowboys and Indians etc. The difference was that we fired imaginary bullets instead of foam rubber darts.

Funny how both my boys don't even have Nerf guns anymore, but yet my wife and I still find those darts all over the house and yards. Anyways, airsoft is better indoor training for kids.

That was fun, I agree and rather normal....much like chasing the Fogger thru the streets. However, the game was kid vs. kid....never would have involved a parent or beyond The equivalent of Hoppy, Gene & Me.
