Dear All,

Looking for your recommendations on good LEFT HAND semi-autos from you knowledgable people out there!)

(Now I know very little about this topic as am right handed and own pumps and O/Us...)

All opinions and advice welcomed on this, am thinking the gun will be mainly for waterfowling and a bit of pigeon / dove hunting.

Thanking you in advance,

Scrummy

I know Benelli makes the SBE2 in a left hand model, and Escort (Hatsan) does as well. It might be worth your while to check out the "Left Hand Shotgunners" forum on this site for advice though.

I shoot left handed but use right handed semi-auto's without a problem. IMO, the Benelli left handed semi-autos are an incomplete effort at best. The bolt release button is still on the right side of the receiver, opposite of the ejection port. Completely awkward.

My left handed son shot a 391 on the advice of his left handed shooting instructor. Neither of them really had a problem with it. It really reinforces the need to wear shooting glasses at all times, as the ejected hulls often having unburned powder slinging out of them.
We never tried using a true left handed gun, so I can't help you there.
Good luck--Gofer
