Hey, it says "women shotgun shooters". I thought this might be the place for a guy to drop a line...

You didn't give the ladies much to go on.

What do you have to offer the lucky lady? Good looks? Big heart? Great instruction? Free Perazzi?

I recommend that if this develops, there should be a face to face lunch or at least some Skype or iChats so we don't have another Mante Teo (sp?) episode.

Hahaha! I'm not familiar with Mante Teo but I am always up for a group lunch. As far as offerings you mentioned, definitely don't have the Perazzi and I'm still getting instruction when possible! Just regular 31 year old guy from Texas who loves to shoot and has a little hope left. lol

Well, we know that you are not Catholic or a college football fan. (Notre Dame) :) Mark

Choot,

As was mentioned, you will have to provide the ladies with some useful information to aid in their decision to contact you.

Do you enjoy long walks on secluded beaches at sunset?
Do you prefer tea or coffee?
Are you an early riser?
Are you a member of the ATA or NRA?
How many times per week do you shoot?
Do you prefer 7 1/2's or 8s?
Do you prefer beer or liquor?

With your tastes and preferences, women are better able to form a (tentative) decision about contacting you.

May I suggest match.com rather than ShotgunWorld?

I'd suggest you work on that Perazzi, might be a deal breaker without one.

If you can't find a wife of your own, maybe a shooting buddy would share his. He would have more time-of-his-own and you would save money spent for significant-other maintenance.

Fellas, girls don't care about any of the a for mentioned attributes.

Are you handy?
Are you gainfully employed?
Do you live with your Mother?
Can you use a vacuum?
Do you know how to cook?
Will this shooting hobby come before our relationship, paying the bills, time with our children, church or chores around the house?

If you can't answer yes to at least three of these questions; save yourself a ton of trouble. Lol

They used to. But once you meet a girl that is handy with a gun all bets are off!

Doug

You forgot to add to your list:

"Runs all list about the wife by the wife", and
"Doesn't checker gun stocks on the coffee table in the living room"

Wow I don't know how I missed the fact that so many replied to this post but the responses are hilarious! lol I am not a good cook, I hunt deer, coyotes, quail, dove, hogs, ducks, random varmints and one unlucky red howler monkey. I agree that shotgunworld was probably not the best place to look for love but eharmony didn't do me any favors either. Haha! My social network is made up of guys with shotguns, beards, or gunshops. Not a lot to pick from hanging out with them! :D
