Best place to find them:

Friends, church, social clubs, etc.

Best place not to find them- internet.

Wow I don't know how I missed the fact that so many replied to this post but the responses are hilarious! lol I am not a good cook, I hunt deer, coyotes, quail, dove, hogs, ducks, random varmints and one unlucky red howler monkey. I agree that shotgunworld was probably not the best place to look for love but eharmony didn't do me any favors either. Haha! My social network is made up of guys with shotguns, beards, or gunshops. Not a lot to pick from hanging out with them! :D

I gotta ask about killing this howler monkey! HAhahaha!

Church is where you might find the last good ones worth your time and money.

Not a guarantee...but still better than any alternatives.

I know a guy that met his fiancé on a local gun forum, but he was way sneakier. Gotta wait for a guy who wants to get his daughter shooting lessons. ;)

Figured instead of making a new post I would just jump into this one.

Well I have been looking at getting a new gun for the old lady for a while now but were having some issues with gun weights. The major problem she is having is most target guns are just to heavy for here to hold up and shoot for extended periods of time. Right now the heaviest gun she is shooting a Silver Pigeon III sporting (20ga frame) which comes in at right around 6lbs even and it took her a while to get use to holding that up. We are skeet shooters and she shoots with a fairly aggressive forward lean so during registers shoot she is always saying here arms are extremely tired by the time we get to the .410 category (for those that do not shoot skeet this is 300 targets latter with another 100 targets to shoot). She has absolutely no problems with recoil even with a light weight gun only reason she shoot 20ga in the 12ga category is just because most 12ga target guns are around 9lbs and there just to heavy for her. I shoot a Kolar that comes in just under 10lbs and she literally can only shot one round with it.

Since we shoot skeet for the longest time I have been wanting to get her a nice skeet setup but everything I can find is about 8-10lbs especially when you are shooting tubes. Right now what we have seriously been considering is the new Blaser F3 women's edition and getting a set of Briley's for that but even that gun come is at about 8lbs. I even talked to Blaser for a while about seeing if they could custom make something in the 6-7lbs range and they said no.

Anyone have any suggestions for a light weight nice skeet setup? or anyone know how all these 14year old 90lbs girls are shooting straight 100's with 9lbs gun?

Appreciate the input but I have not been very thrilled with CG guns. I had a bad experience with a Rizzini and another with a Gaesar Guerini. I just don't think the build on them is as durable as some of the others. Not trying to bash on CG Just my personal opinion/experiences. I was more looking for a gun in the Krieghoff, Blaser, Kolar, class.

Have you ever tried one of the Browning XS Feather sporting guns? I love the XS line but passed on a georgeous 20 gauge XS Feather because it was too light for me. But I've owned the Standard weight XS in both 20 and 12 and really like them. I also think you can get the new 725 in 20 gauge feather weight.

A man who trades his shotgun for a woman has no taste in either

A man who trades his woman for a shotgun has a lot of time to.........you know...........polish the barrel

There are way to many variables to say for sure, dependant on the wife AND shotgun in question. I woulnt trade my wife for a truckload of the finest shotguns ever made, and there are other good wives out there, however there are women i wouldnt take if you GAVE me the same truckload. Shotguns vary almost as much in quality and and fit as wives do.
