So I ordered a pallet of ammo from Dan on Thursday of last week. It left West Virginia on Friday, and arrived in So Cal this morning (Tuesday).

Thanks Dan. Order with confidence.

YSR:

please post a range report on these Kent shells, on the other thread I had started.

Thanks! I am looking at picking up some flats of Kent shells from Kent directly but the prices you listed are cheaper than what Kent qouted me. I will contact Dan for sure to see about getting a delivery out in my neck of the woods.

I bought a pallet of these:

12G Velocity Light Sporting Clay 2 ¾” K122LSC28-8 1 OZ 1200 25/250 $54.50

Somebody else in So Cal must have ordered some too because when the truck left me it had more ammo on it.

I've shot Kent before and it always works well. It's just not available in So Cal.

When ammo was $29 a case I should have bought 100 cases, when ammo was $39 a case...

I never have shot Kent ammo, but it sounds like I may start soon.

I’m also considering a change at those prices. 50 flats of Fiocchi a year even at wholesale price is getting hard to swallow. The difference in price means another full weekend of competition can be added within my yearly budget.

I think the Kent velocity is as good as any shell sold. I wouldn't be afraid to shoot them at ANY event.

As I said, I've shot them before and they are fine.

I'm going to guess that they'll break about 73% of the targets I shoot at :)

If you order from Dan, tell him you saw my post.

I assume Kent shells are of the same construction as Gamebore shells (e.g. both use Diamond Shot in some of their loads)...so why bother buying the more expensive Gamebore? These shells look like a good bargain.

How well do the Kent target loads work in cold weather(below 32)?

We shoot them all winter in Chicago, they're fine in the cold, no "punky" reports. Dan always delivers promptly too!

I guess I should clear up some of the confusion because THREE people stopped me at the range yesterday and asked me about ammo.

Dan Arthalony represents Kent, not me. I was just posting it for him.

If you want to order ammo, you order it from him. If you order 25 cases or more there's no freight charge.

The only reason I said to contact me (if you lived in So Cal and wanted less than 25 cases) was so we could combine a bunch of small orders into one big order, which is what we've done.

The ammo works well, and once you order from Dan you'll have it in a few days.

I'm already working on my next order.

P.S. orders of over 100 cases get an even bigger discount. Contact Dan directly for more info
