I will be in the Mobile (Theodore) are next week for work. Any members in the area that want to meet up and shoot?

I found 2 clubs on line.

Taylor Creek
Bushy Creek

Anyone have any info on the clubs?

Thanks

Brandon

One is holding the state shoot, IIRC, in about a month

Taylor Creek is open to the public on weekends if your trip overlaps. Both clubs have good reputations for a mix of targets but Taylor Creek will be softening stations for a charity shoot on Friday morning the 15th. I'm not sure what the manager's schedule is, but he normally does target changes the day prior if his day job allows. I'll check on his plans this weekend since I have Thu & Fri on my calendar to help. We are also prepping for the state shoot in October as noted by oneounceload.

I don't have a routine time to be out on the range like many shooters who have a standing time to get together each week. PM me if you don't hear from someone with a standing group and we can probably set a time to meet at the gate.

I have only heard good things about Bushy Creek and would probably shoot there if Taylor Creek had not been on the way to my skeet club in Mississippi. Both Bushy and TC should be worth the effort if you have time.

Of course, right now, and until Irma (and maybe Jose) have passed, things might be a little dicey.

Talked to Chris this afternoon. TC is resetting targets Thursday. Hope you have time to visit Bushy and TC. Both clubs are run by guys that will take care of folks passing through the area if they get the chance. Hopefully the hurricanes will allow a little southern hospitality.

Weather forecast is looking good so far. Let me know if Gary was not able to link you up with a squad or you have the time and desire to shoot both clubs. I'll try to keep my time open Tue-Wed afternoons.

Brandon, PM with cell number sent. I'm notorious for not hearing the phone so leave a message if I don't pick up. Either day should be fine.

Thanks for all of the replies. I left Tulsa early this morning and did not see the messages.

I will try to hook up next time.

Thanks

Do you still want to shoot at Taylor Creek? I will be available.
