The final event of the Whitetail Series, here at the JL Bar Ranch & Resort, in Sonora, TX, will be taking place in 2 weeks on Saturday, Oct. 7th.

There are 10 shooters still in the running for the guided Whitetail buck hunt and the Rio Grande turkey hunt. The scores are neck & neck and it's going down to the wire to see who the champion is!

One and all are more than welcome to come shoot the final event, and/or watch the guys compete for the hunts. It's going to be a good one with some great targets, worthy of the competition, to decide the outcome. Sign up and shooting will begin at 8 am that morning. Please call for more information, or to let us know you will be coming out.

Thanks!

The final results are in for the series!

In the final event, Kirk Cleere takes it with a 92. Tony Rivera followed him with a 91. Great shooting by both gentlemen.

In the series, Tony Rivera picks up the guided hunt for a 150 class whitetail, and Tom Mack was runner-up to pocket the turkey hunt. The averages are as follows:

Tony Rivera - 91.75
Tom Mack - 89.75
Kirk Cleere - 89
JR Cooper - 87
Robert Mayer - 72.3
Thomas Maricle - 64.5
Gary Stavinoha - 60.25

19 shooters participated in the various events and we appreciate each one of you. Thank you!
