I have started a new business (for me) where you can rent a 5-Stand, to use on your own property. It would be great for weddings, reunions, parties, fundraisers, divorces or any gathering you’d like. I am not selling any equipment, I am offering a service, just like all the other Sporting Clays Courses on this forums. I just wanted your viewers to know that there is an alternative to going to a club, when, and if, you have enough land, I can come to you for the day. -Chris

I know of a few outfits like this in Tx. Their busiest days are right before dove season. It isn't too unusual for one to be set up to shoot at after you have limited.

I am always happy to see someone expending thenpublics chances to shoot. I hope it takes off for you.

I guess, it's cool when you have this kind of business. I have a restaurant. And sometimes it's damn hard to make things working. For example, I had a lot of problems with timesheets and schedules. And there was a complete mess in the restaurant because of it. Then one of my friends told me that I can use timesheet template from this tracktime24.com site. And it actually worked. Now my men are more productive. I've tried to make timesheet on my own before, but somehow I didn't nail it.

Sounds like some pretty good equipment at a very decent price. Don't know if he would part it out, but it wouldn't hurt to ask if you or your club just needs a few target throwing machines.

This was a good idea on paper, but how many people have enough land to keep all the shot fall on your property??

Most of the farmers that I know.

There is an outfit in Waseca Mn. Top Gun Shooting Sports that does rental 5 stand and full sporting clays courses. Waseca is where Herters used to be for those old enough to remember them. They were in the parking lot at Horse and Hunt last year of all places when I took off a day of work to shoot there.

They do 2 local shoots near me each year. One is at a Boy Scout camp as a fundraiser. Just got asked if I was going to shoot it this year it is $600 for a 4 man team I told them yeah when you find a sponsor for us. Which is how most people normally shoot it.

The other is on a farmers property put on for the local builders. That one is a 3 day event first day for the builders, second for a Cancer charity and third day is open shooting. That farmer requires steel shot on his property and I'm not a fan of steel shot.

Yep, most registered shooters in Wisconsin know"Fast Eddie" very well. He does most of the 5 stands at our major shoots. Nice family.

I am new at all of this. How will this new AFS system work for "rental" type shoots? Sounds like something that doesn't need the structure(s) yet produces a fun afternoon.
