To all in the Georgia Alabama area, Kiwanis of Lagrange Georgia will be putting on our 7th annual Scholarship fundraiser clay shoot for tuition assistance for students attending Lagrange College and West Georgia Technical College.
Shoot date is Saturday April 14 with rain redo date on Sunday the 15th.
This is our 2nd year at Big Red Oak, last year we had 42 shooters, we are already over 100 shooters for this year. Last year we had a great catered BBQ lunch followed by a live Calcutta auction for the top ten shooters of the morning 100 target main event. The tenth place shooter went on to win the sudden death miss and out shoot off at the nearby five stand. All of the $770.oo Calcutta money was returned to the winning shooter. The sudden death shoot off was very exciting and was watched by everyone.
After the shoot off, prizes, raffle items and trophy's were handed out on the three step winners podium.
The top shooter of the 100 target main event won the right to sign the "Top Gun" bat which is signed by former major league All Star pitching ace Kevin Millwood. This award is displayed in a framed case with an engraved plaque showing the shooters name and score, permentily shown in the clubhouse.
This event was a good time with a good meal, all for a great cause. Please mark your calendar and come join us for the best fundraiser shoot you will ever see.

A little update, we are well over 100 shooters for our fundraiser event. The Calcutta should be a real good time.
