Take a moment to brag about yourself!

Some examples may be:
  • Winning your class at an event
  • Winning HOA
  • Punching up to a new class
  • Winning an award
  • Figuring out a certain type of target presentation
  • Running a station
  • Shooting at a place on your bucket list
  • Or anything else

At my first registered shoot I won enough punches to move from D to C for the next weekend. Didn't even have a number yet.

Johnny,

None of those things even begin to compare when I realized I had introduced over 10,000 people to the sport some of whom have done those things, and all of them have had great pleasure in three countries over the decades

Won my class at At Jeep Clay Bird Classic at National Shooting Complex back in the 90’s. Won a 11-87 Sporting Clays autoloader to boot.

Same year won class at Zone shoot held at La Paloma in Boerne TX.

Yes, was a long time ago and I’m old.

For me, inventing the first commercial tilting base for a target machine. Then making curling targets popular. Also, coming up with the name "Intercept" for this method.

I guess the thing I am most proud of is teaching all of the clay target games for the last 30 years to new shooters. This is my real passion in the clay target sports. I used to love to shoot but teaching won out over the years.

Being able to make a lot of my sporting clays journey shooting with my son and have watched with proud eyes as he learned and matured and has become a very skilled competitor. I believe in 2018 he will earn his way into master class

What makes me prouder yet is that he is a good sport and gentleman too

I have had a number of individual achievements I was pretty pleased with over time but none of that compares to sharing something I enjoy with my son. I hope I last long enough for the opportunity to experience shooting with grandchildren as well.

When I decided I was going to go on the pro-sporting clays tour, I ended up getting involved with some youth shooters and never went pro.

I'm most proud of getting an SCTP team started and lobbying the high school to make it a varsity sport.

Other than that, I haven't accomplished anything!

2009 U S OPEN I was in "A" class.

I won 20ga., 28ga. tired for 3rd., 410ga. had the lead for 4 days then a friend of mind tired me and he won on a station break.

I won "A" class overall in subgauges.

All three classes had over 50 shooters.

It is the best shooting I had ever done and guessing I ever will.

When I went to the next shoot I told the guys that nobody was more shocked than I was.

One of the guys said "Oh your friends were."
