The 2020 NY State Championship has been relocated to Rochester Brooks Gun Club in Rush NY. The dates will remain the same, July 24-26. It was the decision of Mid County and the NYSCA to allow the move to western NY due to unclear dates for the reopening in the downstate counties. We hope that they will be able to host the 2021 Championship and as always look forward to their hospitality.

These challenging times presented us with some challenging decisions. We have endeavored to keeping the NYS Championship tradition alive and take some of that itch out of your trigger finger while keep everyone healthy and safe!

Things you should know…

Pre-Registration and full payment is required and all events and options MUST be selected during Registration.
Option payments will be accepted online ($.50 credit fee). Full refunds will be honored upon request at any time before your first shot. If circumstances warrant a cancellation, full refunds will be issued automatically. All position ties broken by station tie-breakers – No Shoot-Offs. The Club House will not be open and our traditional registration desk will not exist. We cannot accept Walk-In shooters. Golf Carts and the traditional Saturday night dinner/T-Shirts will not be available.

Western NY has entered phase 3 and is closing in on phase 4 so things are somewhat getting back to normal. Restaurants and Hotels are open.

Dave's food cart will be there!!!!! Ribeye steak sandwich available to all.

Going to miss it and even sadder about Dave's food cart..... the best around. Doesn't look like the borders will be open by then. So the amount of shooting us folks up here in ON will be doing is non existent this year. Good luck to all......

Sure hated missing the Deuce this spring, first time since it started.

And now we are out for the State Shoot. This year can’t go away fast enough.
Sure will miss all the regular life long friends at Brookes.

I certainly miss having our Canadian friends joining our shoots at Rochester Brooks. It has been to long of a time since I have been able to shoot in the Great White North as well. Hopefully this virus will pass and our governments will begin to allow us to enjoy the sport that has given us the best of times and friends. Jim Waterman
