Since Rastoff loves his Ljutic and Maltzie is in love with his new CG.......What is your favorite trap gun....Not one that you might want, but one that you have previuosly owned or currently own and shoot on a regular basis.

Since I started this thread, guess I better reply; I love my BT-99 and my new SKB85TTR, but my favorite trap gun is my Remington 1100-CT. salesrep

Krieghoff M32, 30" barrels and Vandalia rib, I'm sometimes embarrassed to be seen using such a fine gun, but it's a joy to use!

I love my Perazzi MX10RS. With 34" Unsingle Barrel and 32" O/U Barrels, Pull Trigger, & Wenig Custom Stock. The gun moves wonderfully, and my scores do not do it justice, but that is all about to change! Matt Woodson www.scattergunstore.com

I have owned a BT 99, SKB GC7 top single, SKB unsingle combo, Browning XT unsingle combo, Beretta 687 unsingle combo, CG Magnus unsingle combo and a Kolar Max T/A unsingle combo. I have found you get what you pay for. With that said the Kolar is the best I have ever had with the CG coming in at two. The others were not in the ball park as these two.

Nothing will replace my Broadway which is retired to the safe, however, my XT does come in a close second.

Well....... of the guns that I have owned and shot trap with.... my 870 field gun with the HART LOP butt plate installed would have to be my favorite for singles and handicap.... because I shoot this gun so much better than all of the real trap guns I have owned and honestly tried. For doubles my 525 sporting clays gun for the same reason I like the fore mentioned 870
I have owned a couple actual 870 trap versions, a bt-99, an XT, a cynergy classic trap, a 391 trap and probably a couple others I have forgotten about at this time, and had them all adjusted to fit.

Ljutic - Mono Gun ARS. Everything else is a step backward. You know, it's really fun to hear what everyone likes. I'm not surprised that there are some that just love the 870. I'm not surprised to hear all the other likes as well. We all have different builds and tastes and not everyone will like the same gun. Good input all!

870 Classic Trap, w/ full fixed choke. I know I am far in the minority here, and I own breach opening trap guns but I shoot the Remington 870 the best.

First Place, Classic: Grandfather's Browning Double Auto Trap, someone in the family uses it once in awhile.
First Place, user gun: Browning BT-100 32" MC. It did let me down Thursday eve or maybe I let it down.

Not that it's a Trap Gun per se. (It is to me as it's what I use at Trap) Browning Cynergy Classic Sporting: 30in barrels. I just got it about 2-3 months ago. http://www.browning.com/products/catalo ... ype_id=245It has a little different stock then the original Cynergy. I've been eyeing the Cynergy models for a while. The local gun store only had the Trap combo which was $4,500 a bit out of my price range. I saw this gun in the rack at a Dicks Sporting goods. The wood grabbed my eye at the store. I asked to guy behind the desk to look at it. He handed it to me, I shouldered the gun, two seconds later I knew I had to have this gun. I bought it on the spot. Total impulse purchase and I couldn't be happier. (It's my first over/under). I went into the store to buy some ammo LOL.
