I believe Escort is the US importer and Hatsan is the Turkish manufacturer, but I could be wrong on that.

The ones I've seen have been 6 shot models, and were priced under $300, usually around $250

Same manual of arms as a Remington, except that the slide release wraps in front of the trigger guard, which makes it easier to get to when shooting right handed.

Hey..well i have one of those and i can tell it's reliable ... it fires slugs like a charm and no prob. with the 00 bucks, about 100 shot through it all slugs and bucks and no probs till now , and i dn't think it'll fail me.. it's solid.
Mine is 7+1 and have fiber optics sights and a rail, but i do like the fiber optics..

cheers.

I've had a Hatsan escort pump in 20ga for about 2 years now, fired several thousand rounds through it, no problems whatsoever; it's reliable, well-made and handles and cycles flawlessly.
Yup, one of our semi-autos has about 15k rounds through it, runs great

I have a Escort Pump. Picked it over the The Rem, mos, and the winchester. I have shot Shot Guns sence 1950's , the Turkish gun seams to be well made. Smothe action, "no sticking shells." Have put 100's box's of slugs, 00 buck and shot through it. Works fine. Remember the "Datson"," Toyota" and "K-Mart", they turned out to be the company's that saved the "US"
