Same here. I tried shootingworld, no posts at all in the last 7 days.
Shotgun World provides something the general gun forums seem to miss; everybody is so crazy about AR's, combat and defensive shooting, how many rounds you can stuff in a magazine, etc., and the other forums are full of that.
In addition to hosting costs (which can be spendy), both are running XF. License fees, the last I checked, is $200 a pop. In this case a total of $400 for just the board software.
