Only a year old, but during last summer I had my 20 double. I thought it was a anomoly,
but it happened 2 more times. Should i remove the stock and inspect or ship it to Asusa?
I was shooting my normal reloads.
I shoot a different gun during the winter and now would be a good time for the repair.

Thanks, Fred

Did you switch the barrel selector w/ out engaging the safety?

Possibly, I'll check with primered hulls to repeat and maybe remove the stock just to inspect...Thanks, Notime2

That'd be my guess then. Perazzi manual directs you to engage the safety before switching barrels. I wouldn't count it out if you can't replicate it with hulls though.

I think, but could be wrong, that the doubling after moving the selector with the safety off only applies to drop-trigger Perazzis, not fixed trigger models like the MX-20.

need clarification on what exact model 20 gauge Perazzi the OP has....I have seen people use the "MX-20" label incorrectly, applying it to both the fixed trigger models and the drop out trigger models.
