Well I was looking for a subgauge for some time and almost pulled the trigger on a 20 gauge red label but held off for something better. Well a week later I found a nice 26" 28 gauge cynergy field for $950. I just got it today and it was as new. I can't wait to try it out. I was going to take it to the trap field tonight but the local snow closed the range for tonight. I might have to wait till this weekend. Anyway am very interested in trying it out on some pen raised pheasants in a few weeks.

You'll be glad you waited for that 28ga. I have 2 of them and use them for skeet since I don't hunt anymore. It won't be long before your looking for a re-loader and components. Congratulations!!

Congrats on the gun.

Check out the 28 ga society at http://28gasociety.46.forum er.com without the space in the middle. I have to post it this way because the SGW software will bastardize it if I post a direct link.

Check out the 28 Ga Society! Copy/paste into your URL window:

Delete the space between "forum" and "er", and hit the "Enter" key. SGW's softer buggers direct links.

For me, the BEST part of 28-gaugin' is the featherweight scaled-down frames on most - I have a 100 y.o. SxS, that's like a (loud) wand (5-1/2 lbs).
