I'm not a Mossberg fan, but while in the gun store one caught my eye. It looked a little more "finished" than the other Mossbergs I had ever seen. The Model said "500AT" and it had a jeweled bolt and a metal safety. They only wanted $159.00 for it. What's it worth, when was it made, and does anyone know anything about it?
My mistake. The model was actually a 500AT Ser.# C12023, and the bolt is engraved, not jeweled. I bought it for $100.00. Are the forends always that loose on Mossbergs?
it sounds like you got a godd deal and yes the forend always is.
