I just got home from the NC State Shoot. What a great time! I saw and shot with many old friends and new ones. Great targets on every event I entered. Mike Oliver, Laurie, his wife, Rick Hemingway, Casey with Winscore, and everyone involved with putting on this event worked hard and did an awesome job. We had great weather until today, but I was lucky. My rotation missed the rain.
A huge shout out to Braxton Oliver. He won the State championship with a 195/200. 95 yesterday followed by a 100 straight today in the rain. It is hard to beat a man that does not miss.

Not only can he shoot, but he also set the FITASC targets. I shot them on Friday, and they were interesting, challenging and gettable. Congratulations, Braxton.

I’m sure that it was a great time but I wish they would have it in a more central location in the state. I thought last years state shot at the Fork was a big success.

Well, if it's at Dewitt's next year, it will suit you just fine. Chris Dewitt puts on a fine show.
