Having shot the course on thursday- I can tell you 99 was getting it! I had the course for a 94-96 if you were on your game but 99 was bonkers good!
Congrats to Rodger!!
Also congrats to George, Patti and their entire family for putting up a great display of targets and fully utilizing their terrain. The event ran like a fine clock and I expect nothing less going forward.
Those who have had the pleasure to sample George's targets in the past know what I speak of. Glad to see the boys gradually taking over the torch!

Great shoot so far, good challenging targets. Nothing thrown in the sun, and dust is under control. Having a good time, hope to be back soon for another large event. A+

Looks like a fair amount of close and fast on red course?
Shot green today and liked the field stuff better than the woods stations.

Shot green today and liked the field stuff better than the woods stations. Mostly wooded, about 2/3. Targets below your feet in the ravine. Some field shooting. Overall the woods is mainly where I shoot the best. Good course. Great shooting by Chris Ferres a 99 is awesome. A 98 by Mike Luongo is outstanding too. I was squadded with Chris Ferres in the prelim. Good guy to shoot with. Good luck today.

Lots of fun today but i got clobbered on red. Gotta spend more time on the skeet field! Had almost no wait on either day thanks to the two different courses. Between the smooth process, legit crab cakes for lunch and ice cream freezers on both courses it was impossible to not enjoy yourself.

Nick,
I like to see how you and the other higher tier shooters approach the various presentations and weather conditions. I like to compare those presentations with what have at our club. The guy that sets our club gets a lot of inspiration from Rick Hemingway at Backwoods Quail Club which is about a 2 hours drive max from our club.
I retired and just started down the "clays" road in Feb at age 65. I hunted all my life, but 2 for 3 or 3 for 4 isn't much in this game.
Thanks for all the videos. Continued success!
JB

Thank you for the support everyone. I feel that it is always good to get a mix of shooters of all levels. Here is the last video for these Regionals: Main Event Green Course, FITASC and 5-Stand. Enjoy on the blog: https://frenchnick.com

How would you guys explain that 4 shooters in the top 5 in the Main Event are from the Carolinas (north or South)? Curious about that...

We shoot a lot of targets in the woods here in the Carolinas. Plus shooters are prepped for state shoots in both states during the next 3 weeks.
