I run Malware Bytes in addition to help with all the bad actors in software. I guess it is working as it lists the bad sites it blocked when I want to see them.

IPS on my router shows no intrusion attempts. Can you give details on this "Trojan" so I can investigate further?

The Trojan attack reports largely died out about Aug 28th, IIRC. Now it's mainly slowness due to timeouts attempting to reach an advertising site which no longer exists. As mentioned above also.

Understood, but I have never received any warnings of a "Trojan" prior to that date.
With some details, perhaps I could go back through my black hole DNS/IPS logs and find the source of this issue.

Not like SGW board hasn't seen this before. Here's the "answer" to reports of a slow site from a post back on 17 Jan 2018:

"The issue appears to be a slow advertising server, app.outdoorhub.com."

I remember it hanging on "app.outdoorhub.com", I commented on it on 3-JAN-2018.
But then, as now, I didn't see anything about a "Trojan" registering on my system.
If there is in fact a "Trojan" I would like to know the details so I can dig into it.

In the meantime, rather than just sitting there, waiting for a page to load....

If you're using Firefox (like me) and it hangs, just click on the 'reload' button to the left of the 'home' button on the task bar. It will be displaying an 'X.'
