Braxton Oliver. I Shot with him at Hopkins, he's had a strong 2020 and should be a contender.

Will definitely bring the Joe Blows up close to the elite shooters, barring some wild weather days. Targets not softer than usual. Last year 290 won, the year before 286. Best score so far this year is 282. Glenn 99.5 % of the possible winners haven't shot yet. Already a 282. Looks lime maybe a record score year to me. You may be right. I saw a pretty good shooter on 281 and thought to myself it might be tougher. Glenn

Oh the prediction game...
I am going to say that Derrick Mein will end up hitting a higher percentage of his Sporting Clay Targets then he did Skeet Targets two weeks ago. To pull it off would be extremely impressive as he didn't set the bar low. He hit 534 out of 550 in the five events combined; basically a 97%.
97% would require he shoot a 291 in the Main which might not happen, but it would not be completely unheard of if he shot in the ballpark of that. If we include the scores for all of his side events this week, his average across the board will end up pushing over 97%. Who knows, he may not end up winning the National Championship, but total in, all his winnings from all events, my prediction is nobody else will be close to him.

Great prediction Jack. I was concerned both of them might not be on their top form - shows what I know. It's terrific to see such upstanding people at the top. Never any scandals with those guys, quick to help other shooters, great competitors and amazing shooters. With some really good juniors right on their heels. The future is bright for our sport.
