I hear Mossberg manufactured and sold to the public the M9200A1 from 1996 to 2001, 12 gauge, 18.5 inch barrel,
autoloader. It was known as "The Jungle Gun"
I was looking for more general info on it and how does the Mossberg 590A1 compare to it?
a friend of mine has one. it feels great in my hands. it's lightweight, there's low recoil, and it feels very sturdy.
however, the gun is notorious for having feeding issues. the one i fired worked fine for a while, but my buddy is now having a lot of issues with it not feeding properly. this same story has been told over and over again.
and to answer the question in the original post, the 590A1 is slightly longer, just a little bit heavier, and quite a bit more reliable. personally, i'd take the 590 over the 9200... but then again, i'd take almost any pump over any autoloader anyday.
