Since we all love our shotguns so much,I only thought it would be proper that you name your gun. I got my shotguns name from the Hobbit. I call it "Orcrist"-the goblin cleaver. Since bad guys are commonly referred to as "goblins" on other gun forums I thought it sounded right. Yeah,I'm a geek. But what can I say? I love my Mossberg.
Anyone else, feel free to share your shotguns name.

Come on,don't be embarrassed....I know you all have names for your babies....

This is actually a highly private question  . But considering the warmth of answers i've received on this forum i'll share. She's named Caitlyn, I call her Caty for short. She's an 870 with a smooth bore and a rifled barrel, and she comes third in my life after my wife and my dog.

Ha!!!

O.K., Rotty. I'll get out of the pool, but, before I get out, I'll share my shotgun's name.

Here it is. . . . . .

It's. . . . . . Remington.

Actually, I didn't name it. The manufacturer did.

Can someone hand me a towel, please?

In highschool we used the term "cheeseburger" as code for smoking pot.

Old Trusty (the 15,000+ round hunting gun) and the Liquor Store Bandit (the newer pistol grip 870). The Liquor Store Bandit got it's name when my GF saw it with it's new pistol grip for the first time. She asked me if I was going to rob a liquor store with it...

My Nova is named "Mr. Sincerity". The most famous Benelli Nova aside from Tom Knapp's.

I just bought a Remington 870 Tac-3, put on a Knoxx SpecOps stock and have a Surefire 918FA fore-end on its way to the house. Once I get the Trijicon ghost ring sights and a sling, I will name her.

My AR-15 is named Miss Parker from the character from the series "The Pretender". Sleek and sexy, but oh, so deadly.

I am afraid to call my shotgun names. It might go off like an assualt weapon, and kill 20 people, or something, and then, I'd be in trouble.
