Are there any instructions out there on how to disassemble/reassemble the NEF/H&R type single shot shotguns? I would assume this is a fairly simple procedure.

It's been a long time since I had one apart, but as I remember it was pretrty straight forward.....seems to me that there was a slave pin necessary to hold parts together for assembly....

You're right Mike.

The slave pin is needed to keep the spring loaded trigger aligned properly in the trigger guard, during it's assy. The slave pin will then be pushed out with one of the trigger guard pins.

This site has very good illustrated instructions on NEF Handi-Rifle trigger work, which apply also to the shotguns. I used them to replace a broken transfer bar in my H&R 157.

Hope this helps.
