While exploring getting the wife her own shotgun, I have come across some Beretta semi-auto models with the RL or SL designation. I have thru here fond that the RL stands for reduced LOP but what does SL mean ? Beretta USA's website is very lacking in explaining differences or specs for the different models.
Thanks in advance

Tim.

I'm not a Beretta expert, but I'm pretty sure SL means Standard Length stock.

From Beretta:

AL391 Urika Target SL (12 gauge)
Made for those who want perfect shooting, this model derives from the AL391 Urika Trap and comes with a Monte Carlo stock with parallel comb and reduced grip radius. This facilitates the grip and instinctive pointing, especially for individuals with smaller hands. This shotgun has all the professional characteristics of the Beretta competition semiautomatics.

AL391 Urika Target RL (12 gauge)
Different from the SL model, the reduced stock length makes the RL ideally suited to use by women, juniors and men with smaller body frames.

Duh,

Guess I should'a been able to figure that S/L = standard length, since it's so obvious now lol.

Thanx

But I tell you the Beretta USA site does not give up much for info on specs for each model, RL or not, I cannot find LOP or drop at comb and heel for nuttin' nor do they seem to list any 20 ga target or sporting configurations w/ RL stock.

Beretta International
http://www.beretta.com/index.aspx?m=74&idc=1&ids=54
Bottom of page is LOP, DAC, DAH and other info.....
Don't laugh...LOP is listed the same for SL & RL

 No 391 20ga PT in the Beretta listings
