Step away from the counter sir. That gun is chinese made and all that that implies.

There are better guns for a little more money.

They are cheap. Elegant and perform flawlessly? You better stick with Ipods because you know little about guns.

i dont usually open my mouth up about these things but its getting to be a little bad when they send tainted foods, lead paint for our toys and cheap firearms, what has america come too are we so cheap tha for a few bucks more we could buy an american made product that is far better than what they produce? i realize that we dont have much choice when comes to some things but when we can make a choice we should choose american. we have lost too many of our arms makers as it is and its getting to the point that in few more years we could loose them. i dont care if its a union company or not we have to get behind our own people if we are going to still have the american language to speak. damn i feel much better.

I hear they have an operation nowadays where they surgically implant a sense of humor in people. You might want to look into it.

Chinese-made shotguns, particularily semi-auto ones are a crapshoot at best. I don't know what it is about shotguns that confuse the Chinese, they can build an excellent AK47 yet can't build a simple pump shotgun that doesn't fall apart

isn't that gun made in Turkey? if so it's the former Verona Auto. I've had mine for 6 years now and it'
s turned out to be a helluva deal. very simple to maintain and keep clean. min has never had ANY problems during that time and thousands of rounds of trap shooting. in fact i bought mine after buying my son his and it impressed me enough that i got my own!! i love it and sure don't regret it at all !

The H&R Excell semi-auto 12ga is built in Turkey by Sarsilmaz. It is basically the same shotgun as the Verona SX405. Sarsilmaz does build a pretty decent semi-auto, but I also think H&R has their curent Excell model/version of this firearm over priced a bit. You can find this shotgun still new as a Sarsilmaz or Verona here in the US for $100 less than the H&R Excell. The H&R Pardner pump is the one that is built in China by Norinco

Hey Spud - I live in the heart of beautiful gun-loving San Francisco. If you want to talk about putting up with local politics, we'd better build a fire and get a few cases of beer in the cooler, because it's going to be a long talk. . .

Sorry about that I thought it was Chinese. The Turkish guns are a little better. I've have friends with the Verona version of this gun. Some ejection and firiing pin problems. 7lb trigger pull on one of them.

I still think I'd rather have a nice used 1100.

I feel your pain, friend, we escaped the Sacramento area 3 years ago. Got many kin in the BA though. Pity.
