What is your opinion of Kent shells? Trouble with misfires and different sized outer dimensions of loads in same box?

Turkey hunters around here finding some problems.

Never had one problem with fasteel. I really like it and it shoots well. Kills the geese and ducks for me. Never shot the turkey loads before.

I use them quite a bit in 12 & 20gauge for upland birds. Never any problems. What specific loads are you using?

Is Kent ammo the stuff that was $53 for a box of 10 at Cabela's? I saw the price and almost passed out. It was either Kent or something sitting next to Kent - I can't remember now.

Due to environmental concerns this is all that is shot at the club I belong to. I can not think of one time that a shell has not fired. We go through shells 20 and 12ga shells at about 1000-2000 a week on average in all sorts of shotguns.

Kent recently came out with some 7/8 load shells as will. Kent claims 1290fps on the 1 oz load and 1350fps on the 7/8 load. Many of the guys who reload take the old hulls and reload them with great results. Very rarely do we lump any old hulls to the dumpster.

Generally excellent; I've never had or so much as heard of any issues.

I've never had any troubles with misfires or feeding in my Mossberg 535, but it seems to me the Kent 3-1/2", 2-1/4 oz. lead "Turkey" loads kicked harder than any shotgun shell I've ever fired!! They're probably one of the biggest factors in me NOT using 3-1/2" shells anymore...

I shoot Kents in A-5's , Model-12's and an 870 in 20, 16 and 12 gauge and all shoot well and clean which is a extra plus.

The Kent Fast Lead shells that I bought from Cabelas have been the best Pheasant shells I have ever used. I love my 28, but when you take family hunting and need to shoot clean up they are the ticket. 1 1/2 ounce of sixes at 1400 fps in a 2 3/4 inch shell. On caution though, I use a skeet choke due to pattern testing and the pattern at 40 yards is amazing, go figure. Shot one pattern with IM at 40 and it was only like 18 inches 90+%

We're selling the 7/8 oz. and 1 oz. Kent target loads at our club right now. Those who use them seem to like them.We get no complaints.

Love the fasteel, love the diamond shot (lead) as well. Dropped some ducks with the steel, doves and squill with the lead loads. I'd buy them again, with a good price.
