These are utility grade Spanish guns made by Saraqueta. They are not of high value, and there is no discernable collectors market for them. <br>El Faisan translates to "the pheasant"<br>It's reportedly in the $200 range (average) I've seen people claim $75 and $400 <p></p><i></i>

I have seen the same exact gun at a local dealership and it was for sale by an individual who says he paid $425.00 for this gun and was wanting $325.00 for it. The inside of the barrel says 18547-76 then 4-10-76. I have no idea of the worth of this gun, but you can e-mail me at cowboylimp@yahoo.com and maybe we can find some info on it.

I HAVE THIS LITTLE GUN, I PICKED IT UP WHILE ON A HUNTING TRIP TO CANADA(ONTARIO) IN 1961, AT THAT TIME I PAID FIFTY DOLLARS CANIDIAN OR FORTY-TWO DOLLARS U.S. A GREAT POACHER GUN, HOWEVER I ONLY PICKED IT UP FOR A NOVELTY AT THE TIME, AND DON'T THINK IT'S HAD A HALF A BOX OF SHELLS THROUGH IT IN OVER FORTY YEARS.

My father bought one of these little guns for my mother back around '71-'72. She used it for squirrels and rabbits. I used it to take my first squirrel and so did my son. I own the gun now and plan to pass it on to one of my grandkids some day. Not a piece of junk "1100". Maybe you got a bad apple, but this cheap little gun is something I'm proud to have in my collection.

I bought my little double barrel El Faisan two years ago at a flea market. It's a beautiful gun, shoots very well, and I do not consider it junk! I have been offered over $600 for the gun but will not sell it because I have not seen another one like it. One man's junk is another man's treasure and I have met many men that thought a whole lot of their junk...and they would not sell...so Happy Hunting! I love my little 410. DuWat. P.S. There are jealous people in this world...get over it!!!!

"MD, Your friend is a brave soul!"

I know, but he's a school teacher.

I've convinced him though. He's looking for a short-barreled "Defender" type 12 bore now!

I'm looking for one for him now on the major Canadian gun-trading site. All he needs really is an old Mossberg or 870.

I have one, father passed his down to me a few years back. He got it back in the sixties in Ontario. It's a nice, tough little gun, never felt right in my hands, but I've never seen my father miss a Grouse with it yet. All the ones I've seen have nickel plated receivers on them, and I'm yet to see one with any play in the action. So far as value, they seem to be all over the board. One forum I noticed a posting on listed them worth as much as $1600(owner was in Arizona, may have just been a local thing?). Not sure what mine's worth, it's never going anywhere's. I don't recall Dad or I ever using anything but 3" loads in this one.

Looks like a bunch of first time trolls trying to drive up the price on a shotgun.

And one just happens to have one for sell.

Hello I am looking for info on two guns that I have just received

The first is a old double barrel .410 side by side shot gun
El-Faison Elgoibar (ESPANA)
/43/70/410/76
43170 76 -underside of the barrel
850 KGS
It has birds scribed into what looks like knickle

and the other is a bolt action shot gun 16G
Stevens Model
58-16G
Savage Arms Corp.
Chicopee Falls
Mass. USA
(Missing magazine)

Im looking for an approx. value? what is each used for? pros and cons of each and basic information.

I'm very new to hunting and want something to try the sport out with and wonder if investing alittle into these is reasonable, or should I just start over and keep these for show.

Thanks
