 Post subject: Ithaca Model 37 front sling swivel question.

Is it as simple as replaceing the mag tube cap with one that has the sling swvel? and are they easy to come by?

No, you can't do that on a 37. The bottom of the barrel lug has to be drilled and tapped for the swivel stud.

I have 2 Model 37's with sling studs and this is how both were done.

Thanks guys, really dont want to do any drilling and tapping, shes in fine condition for being 60 years old. Ill just leave it as is. Again thanks for the info.
