It is really hard to make only one choice, all of them are great examples of what Russian Gun Artists are capable of.

My vote goes for the Fine Tuned IZH27 because of its tasteful engraving and woodwork.

Cheers!

Tozman,

All are exceptional guns. I narrowed the choice between the Fine tuned IZ27 and the IZ18.

Having recently customised a IZ18 I was envious of the work done on this single barrel and will cast my vote for it. I wish it were mine!

I voted for november as I like the gold inlay. I would have voted for my 12 gauge 27 that I picked up this year used, but it's about 98%.

WOW!! This is a tough choice. But there is such a wide range of approach to each project it begs to have specific things gleaned from each gun.

To win my vote it would have to have beautiful hand cut skip line checkering. The "fine tuned IZH-27" wins in that category. I love to see carved wood but prefer to see that particular art form in someone else's gun cabinet.

It has got to have highly polished gold plated triggers. The IZH-43 Strella gets the thumbs up on that one..

It would have to have deep, highly polished hot bluing. Putins shotgun wins easily in that category.

It has to be functional as well as cleanly designed, most commonly referred to as being "pleasing to the eye." The IZH-27 with upgraded stock, in its simplicity, fits that description for me.

I love deep relief engraving "in the white." IMHO, the single shot is much too busy. That leaves the "fine tuned IZH-27" and the "very special IZH-27." Both are absolutely beautiful but I lean toward the "fine tuned IZH-27."

The only gun that doesn't seem to fit with these fine examples is the MP-153. The apparent laser cut engraving looks like something on a toy gun when compared to the engraving on the others.... JMHO...

I guess you can put my order in for the "fine tuned IZH-27".... Uh..... When can I expect delivery, Toz? :)
