Is this gun any good? I have one that my dad gave to me awhile back, but I've hardly used it. Anything I should know about this gun? I can't find info on it anywhere!

I believe the 1500 XTR is an awesome gun. I purchased my gun (used, excellent condition) over 20 years ago from a private gun dealer. About 15 years ago I purchased a Ranger 1400 slug barrel that fits the 1500. This gave me the opportunity to hunt deer with it. Being a new father back then and not having a whole lot of extra cash, it made sense. My gun is still in excellent condition and I give it great care. The forearm stock split on me about 12 years ago, although I've replaced it with a beautiful tiger stripe grained wood. With the Winchoke system and the slug barrel capability...it makes for an extremely universal gun that serves me as well now, as it did when I originally purchased it. Enjoy!

I had a nice looking 20 ga. that would not cycle the second shot, this would only occur on the second or third round of skeet for a particular day. After cleaning the first 25-30 shells cycled fine. Didn't matter how many times the gun was cleaned or to what extent it was disassembled and recleaned.
