:D Hi, Tristar imported several different guns from Spain, Turkey and Italy. If you could tell us what your looking for (SxS, O/U, pumps or autos) we can go from there.

All the best!

Greg

Just bought a TT-09 and I gotta say.. Other than the trigger I love this gun. My gun has a bit of cast on but I'm a lefty so that works fine for me.
Shot 175 rounds thru it wed night and I cannot wait to get back to the club to shoot some more.
The checkering looks like it might have been cut by an apprentice on his first day at work but I knew what I was getting myself into when I said to my dealer "let me see that tri star".
Over all I really like this gun. Will it outlast my BT 99 or Beretta 302 probly not.
But thats OK. I still enjoy every second of my time at the club shootin with my trap buddies.

I read a good mention in "Shooting Clays" magazine and also at Gunblasts.com on Tri Star shotguns. All on their Turkish made guns.

I just picked up a Viper G2 Silver from Academy. They had it on clearance for $328.00 plus tax. Made in Turkey, has a 5 year warranty. It is a good looking gun to boot. Feels good to me. I was considering a Mossberg Silver Reserve but haven't seen too much good on them. Came with three choke tubes and it takes Beretta/Benelli tubes. I'll let you know how it works out for me.

I just read on another website that you have to change a piston from light load to heavy load. Thats the first i heard about this. anyone shine any light on this?

I didn't see anything about that in the manual. It is recommended that you run 20 or so heavy loads through it first before you try light loads. I guess that is to get everything loosened up and run in.

Yeah, I called them about the O ring in the gas system. I thought it was supposed to be on the piston. Very nice folks there. BTW the O ring was in the gas port sleeve on the barrel right where it was supposed to be.

I have the Viper G2 Tactical and is been great.

I talked to Tristar and found out all of the G2 models have interchangable parts
Stocks
Trigger mech
Forend
and...Barrels!!

So my 20" barrel maybe getting a big brother soon. Thinking a 28" for bird and maybe some clays/skeet

been a great company to deal with so far on the questions I have had
