Hi all, I came across this gun, its a double barrel, but I cant find much info about it though. Is there any way of finding out an age or value of somthing like this, or were these types of guns a dime a dozen in its day? Thanks for any info you can give!!

The American gun co was a hardware gun made by Crescent for H.D.Folsom for sale at their retail outlets.

The Knickebocker line was one of Crescents own brands, so you draw a couple of lines and there you have it.

I wouldn't say they were a dime a dozen but they are fairly common
Crescent ran from about 1888 - 1931 we might be able to date it if we knew if it had hammers and if it was a sidelock or boxlock

Oh value would probably fall below $200
