I'd like to know a value range for this gun. I would say that it is in very good- almost new condition. My dad bought it in the late 50's and it has been in the family since. The gun was used only once or twice- my dad was a competitive high-power rifle shooter and was not into hunting or shooting clay. The gun was part of his extensive collection.

It is the 12 guage under/over with 27 inch vented barrel. I have included a shot of the serial number to confirm the vintage.

It is in beautiful condition with the exception of a couple of tiny scratches on the barrel.

Here are the images: (I've included an image of a 1958 ad for this shotgun- for fun.)

The Blue Book values are: 100%-$700, 98%-$650, 95%-$595,90%$550. Add 20% for 20 ga. Add 100% for 28 ga. Manuf. from 1955-67. Real world prices may be a little higher. Check GunBroker, GunsAmerica, or other auction sites for current prices. Your's appears to be in mint condition. Hope this helps.

Thanks that helps. Guns America has one for over $1000 and it has some marks on it- but then again it hasn't sold yet. A couple of others are in the $900 range. Looks like I am zeroing in on a value.

Would the vented barrel or "57-58" vintage make much of a difference in value.

The Beretta Silver Snipe was offered between 1955 and 1967. The standard Silver Snipe had double triggers and extractors. A single selective trigger version with a ventilated rib and automatic ejectors should increase the value
by approximately 30% or more.

Thanks for you input. I appreciate everyone's help. I am going to list this on one of the sites but if anyone is interested, I am going to market it at $1050.
