The Stoeger has had some issues cycling some of the lighter loads. What are you trying to shoot through it? Aside from using heavier loads, I'd suggest selling it and buying a good new or used Remington, Beretta, etc.

Try using different shells, it could be the shells you are using, trading it in is a option but since you did just buy it, you probally wanna keep it and get it to work. I would maybe send it one more time, and if they can't get it right again, then I would get rid of it.

Everyone else will tell you to buy a nice "used" wingmaster........to me thats not really the solution.

Had the exact problem you are describing on my P-350, took it back where I bought it and they sent it back with a description of what the problem was. Got it back 10 weeks later, the detent ball was not allowing the barrel to be fully seated when the mag cap was screwed down, they replaced the ball and the gun has worked fine since then. be as detailed as you can, I even sent pictures of the jams along with the detailed description.
Passing along a gun that has a problem to an unsuspecting person is not the answer. I hope this helps.

I still stand by that recommendation, by the way.

Almost any problem the stoeger p-350 wiill confront you with can be fixed at home with little to no tools.

She's not a bad gun, some of them just need a little fine tuning.

The double feeds and failure to feeds are both rather easily fixed.

The choke tubes that come with it, however should be placed in the nearest trash receptacle and you should buy come Carlson's

If anyone needs help with their P-350 give me a shout.

People who buy Stoeger products must recognize the fact that they are the QC for the factory. Most of them work fine but those that don't are not caught at the factory. The customer finds the problem. I haven't found a QC issue that can't be repaired at home with a minimum of trouble. You buy a cheap gun, you have to QC it yourself. Benelli does not spend money on quality control personnel. They depend on the end buyer to do the QC. Even their high priced products have problems slip through.

Found this thread looking for a cure for double feeds.

Bought the gun a few years ago. Sometimes I would have double feeds, sometimes not.

Come to realize that the double feeds occur when I load the mag tube, hit the slide release, and rack the action.

DOES NOT double feed if hammer is in fired position, magazine tube loaded and action racked. All rounds feed fine.

DOES NOT double feed if chamber loaded first, then magazine tube loaded. All rounds in magazine tube feed fine.

Moral of the story is do not touch slide release if magazine tube is loaded. Either load the magazine tube full on an empty chamber with the hammer in fired position so you can rack slide without touching slide release. Second, load a round first in the chamber then load the tube. Second round feeds fine after gun is fired and action racked.

Now I am happy.

I think you are mistaking the P350 which is a pump action with the M2000, or M3500.

Have never seen seen, touched nor fired an M2000 or M3500.

I am addressing the double feeds of the P-350 and how to operate it without suffering them anylonger.
