The only option that I know about is truck vault. Any other companies out there building a safe I can put into the back of my escalade esv?

Thanks and all ideas are appreciated.

Are you looking for a safe for long guns or handguns? If long gun, what length compartment do you need?

I have used these guys, while I was still working. http://www.tuffyproducts.com/c-8-drawer ... cargo.aspx I think the Tuffy products are pretty good quality.

And I also used Weatherguard locking steel drawers. They are good quality, also.

In either case you would likely need to line them with carpet.

I would primarily use them for my shotgunes. I shoot a 34' Perazzi with chokes so probably at least 36"
that rollen safe company's website is a little difficult to pull information from, but I have heard some good things about them.
thanks for the ideas

Wow, a 34' perazzi. sounds like you need a semi or a gooseneck trailer for that long of a gun :D

Seriously though, another option would be a standard toolbox for a pickup. they make them plain square instead of the type with lips to drop into the bed. they are lockable though. a little carpet glue, fabric, and the right stuff to put the guns in, and you've got a soloution for prolly much cheaper than the above. It might not be the right idea for you, but mabey someone will take it and turn it into something. I've been considering ways to turn my pickup toolbox into a better gunsafe for when I want to stop somewhere on the way to the range. I know im close but I just got too many projects at once.
