I have a 410 ga., single shot brake-open but not sure what model it is. All information I can fine on the gun is :
J Stevens Arms Company
Chicopee Falls, Mass. U.S.A. Patened August 12, 1913
410 Bore 12 M-M
Only numbers I can find are on the underside of the barrel 584 BN and the same number on the inside frame 584 BN . The model 94B looks like it but the firing pin is not held by a screw but is pinned from the side. Any information on this would help in finding parts.
Thanks
Ron (rwp45)

Try Numrich's site. Just do a search of Numrich's and find the brand and model. There were oodles of these guns made.

Thanks. Numrich is where I went to first. I think you are right they made many of these but never put a model number on them. Must have been many with the same parts.
Thanks again.

In the early 1920s the J. Stevens Arms Co. made several different single-barrels in .410 or 12 mm Gauge. The No. 181 was a hammerless gun. The No. 105 (extractor) and No. 107 (ejector) was their basic hammer model. Then there was the No. 106 (extractor) and No. 108 (ejector) "Featherweight" model. There was the No. 115, essentially a No. 107 but with checkered grip and forearm and a grip cap. Finally, there was the No. 125 "Ladies Model" which was essentially a No. 115 but with a shorter stock and in 16-, 20-, 28- and .410-gauge. There was also the No. 95 (ejector) and No. 90 (extractor) made under their Riverside Arms Co. name. By the 1927, Catalogue No. 57, they added a No. 116 a solid rib version of the No. 115, but they had dropped the .410 from the No. 115 offerings.

For 1930, J. Stevens Arms Co. had dropped the Riverside Arms Co. name for their lower priced line and began using the Springfield Arms Co. name. That same year they introduced the No. 94 as a Springfield. The No. 94 remained a Springfield up to WW-II. One final change, between 1931 and 1933 the "Featherweight" changed to No. 102 and No. 104

Wow ! Thanks for the history. This shotgun has me stumped. Would you or anyone know what the "584 BN" would be. I have stripped this gun down and that is the ONLY numbers, except 410 & 12 M-M, I can find on it.
Thanks for the Help
