Hi:

I paid $350.00 for one in great shape a few years ago. They are a great upland gun!

Had one many years ago and loved it. Now that I am back hunting I regret selling it. A sweetheart to carry afield for birds and I took many deer with it using a 20ga slug.

The Franchi Falconet was imported and sold by Stoeger from 1968 to 1975. Skeet, Silver and Trap models had steel frames. Field grade Falconets employed a lightweight frame of Dural which could be had with either a "Buckskin" or Ebony colored frame. Twelve gauge field models weighed about 6-1/4 Lbs. The Silver model weighed in at 7 Lbs. and the target grades weighed about 8 pounds.

"Book" values for field models range from $200.-(Poor) up to $650.-(NIB) while target grades range from $250.-(Poor) up to $1,050.-(NIB). Since so-called book values can be misleading, always check the on-line auctions for current, real-life prices PAID.

Hi All:

My Falconette was manufactured in 1954. It is not marked Stoger anyplace.

If I remember correctly, they were also finished in a silver coloured receiver that had a plain aluminum looking finish. I have seen The brown and black coloured ones in real life, but I have only seen the plain ones in a book.

Several years ago, I chap was attempting to troll a 28 ga. Falconet on the internet. I offered him $650.00 for it but he thought that it was worth much more than that. He claimed that it was new and unfired. I really lusted for it but his attitude turned me off! Perhaps I will find another.

Good luck,

Leomat

Don't see them very often because the guys that have them are keeping them.

I have a 20 ga Silver model, made in 1970, that is a real sweetie. Barrels well regulated and weighs 5 lb 12 oz
