Good afternoon all,
I recently got handed down my uncles old shotguns one of which piqued my interest, i was hoping someone may have some information about one of the guns and tell me a bit more.
It is a Berretta double barrel side by side daul triger. It has "Beretta Gardone VT" on the top of one barrel and the sporting arms importer name on the other barrell. it is a 12 gauge, dark wood stock with a black metal engraved detailing. I found out that the importer closed in 1978 and was located in teaneck NJ. It also states that it was made in italy.
it is 12 gauge 2-3/4-28" F/M pietro Beretta Gardone VT made in italy, GR2 High strength chromium molybdenum steel-s-
it has a small checkered pattern engraving in the stock.
thats about all i can find except for an engraving that is a circle and has three arrows in it
Thanks

Gardone Val Trompia is the region in Brechia Italy that the factory is located.
Garcia in NJ was the importer.
Look for and post any model numbers you can find on the gun.
