I have a model 51 Featherlight, it has a 2 3/4 chamber. 29.5" smooth barrel, looks to be full choke, by the "4" underneath the barrel. its in amazing shape, does anyone know what it oculd be worth? I dont use it and want to fund another gun! thanks for any help.

Although the book value is about $300, +/-, since the 30" barrel is less than attractive to any except Sporting Clay shooters & waterfowlers, it would be best if you researched ONLY sold/closed gun auction websites like gunbroker or auctionarms to see how much somebody has recently been actually willing to pay for one in like specs & condition recently.

I traded one in about 10 years ago. I got $175.. and was happy to get it.

The gun was very nice, but it was 30 inch Full Choke (before steel shot) Duck/Pheasant gun. The barrel was too thin for the local smith to put in choke tubes... So, I sold it.

Now..with the online auctions, you might find 2 or 3 guys that REALLY want that gun. auction prices seem to be from 125 - 240 on GunBroker.
