I am trying to find reloading data for Solo 1250. Particularly for 12 ga. 1 1/4 ounce loads. I have some old data from Accurate powders, but a check of their site shows 1250 has been discontinued. Appreciate any and all help.

Solo 1250 was not recommended for 1-1/4 oz. loads, at least in my Accurate guides which 2005 is the latest I have.

It shows 1-1/8 loads at 1250 FPS already at maximum pressures, so It's easy to see why they do not advise heavier loads. Pressures would exceed SAAMI maximums.

AA Solo-1250 simply is not a proper choice of powder for 1-1/4 oz, loads.

Thanks D L. I thought that might be the case.

I have an old Scott powder data booklet, which is Accurate data. Accurate bought out Scott a while back. 1250 is a great powder, but it is about a tad faster than Unique and as such would not be a good choice for the 1-1/4 oz load in 12 ga. 1-1/8? Yup, but not 1-1/4. Yes, I know, powder burn charts do not list it that way, but in the real world, it is.

I burned the last 16# of it in these parts in my 28 ga several years back. I gave $56 a jug for it. I wish they had had more!
