I have a BT-99 Plus 34" with three invector plus choke tubes. Gun is in very good condition. Recently had the stock professionally refinished and looks better than new. Wood 99% Bluing 95% some minor bluing wear on trigger guard. I touched up with cold blue. Includes three invector plus chokes FULL-IM-MOD.

Browing Recoil System Adjustable Comb Adjustable Rib

Does not include case.

This is a great gun for a new shooter. Locks up tight.

$1500 plus shipping.

It looks like a great gun but can't bring myself to buy one I haven't shot.

Was this represented accurrately? Isnt that an extremely older receiver and then you have all that aftermarket stuff hobbeled together

Did you get more than 500 for this?

You had to be joking at 1500 asking price werent you?

Hope he feels he got a good value

Regards from Iowa

You guys are joking right? look at that receiver- horrible work- and stock= plain as jane and the comb obviously doesnt match the buttstock-- The comb is from a different piece of wood altogether isnt it?

Plus how much wear on the hinge pins and mono block if all the blue was worn off and had to be cold blued?

It could cost $1000 bucks to rebuild this wouldnt it?

What are you guys covering up/ you must know the guy that sold the gun or what?

Regards from Iowa

Gene

So you guys call this a professional refinish? To me- look along the front edge of the stock where it joins the metal- isnt that an oil damage stain? and the finish itself doesnt look browning at all

And you really do think that comb looks like the rest of the stock

And how do you "refinish" something and rate it 99 percent- whether it was that cold blue he claims or the person that did this refinish and claim it is 99 percent?

Has anyone ever seen on a BT99 plus this dull and apparently unpolished or worn finish on a factory receiver ? or this type of finish or different colors on factory wood- as they left the factory?

Am I missing something here- or is my objectivity off ---- because I am looking at the same pictures you are

This guy selling it claims he sells his stuff for much much more than what I personally value it at- I am just wondering what exactly the correct representation for this condition and refinish is

And if it did indeed need a refinish- wouldnt it by that age need something done to the hinge pins and locking bolt normally?

Regards from Iowa

Gene
