I don't know where you might find one, but if you do, make sure the seller has the proper Federal registeration permit and have it transferred to you. Cheers.. Bushrod

TROLL ALERT :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

Quite possibly this is some ATF agent or some tricky dick cop looking to make a buy of an illegal firearm. Yes, I'm aware that some people COULD have the proper paperwork for this type gun, but I would estimate that 99.99% of the people who have these type guns DON'T have the proper paperwork. Don't fall for it. Let him go fishing elsewhere. Besides, I'm sure that no one on this board would have such a gun...... unless they had the proper papers, of course.

Q: What is a 10" double-barrel shotgun pistol worth?

A: About 20 years in Federal prison.

What's the use of one? Really... I don't think you're going to have to conceal and then quick-draw your shotgun on any upland game.

I seem to recall in my dim distant youth seeing, in South Carolina, a .410 pistol, used to shoot snakes. But not since then. Can't think of much utility beyond holding up liquor stores...

10" 12 ga. SxS - something like this?

http://www.securityarms.com/20010315/ga ... 0/2885.htm

Ithaca made these in the '20's I believe. I've seen ads for them in old magazines like "Field and Stream."

if you want one, it will require a waiting period of up to 6 months, a $200 tax transfer fee, all the proper paper work, approval from the cleo in your area, oh, and no felonies, and i believe no misdomeanors in the past few years as well.

i honestly dont know of a dealer that would have one either.

(10) "Short-barrel firearm" means a rifle with a barrel length of less than 16
inches or a shotgun with a barrel length of less than 18 inches, or any weapon made from
a shotgun or rifle if, as altered, it has an overall length of less than 26 inches.

If it is an AOW and it already has had the Tax stamp then the transfer fee for it is something like $5.00 The $200.00 only applies to the first person that made or bought it. After that it can be transfered for a very small fee. Just my .02

I agree with Ulysses.

I smell a rat.

Maybe some forums mess around with stuff like that, but we keep things on the up & up. If he had the proper documentation, he would be more up on where to get one than we are. This individual will be watched closely on future posts.

Here ya go,,,,,, 16ga tho'

Quote:
Westernized LaMatt 42 Cal, 9 Shot w/16 gauge Shotgun Barrel. Supposed to belong to William P Longley, Gunfighter 1850.-1888. He stated he hated “Negros, Yankees, & Carpet Bagging Lawmen". Killed over 30 men. (Out stopping all the old outlaws except John Wesley Harlin who rack up 10 more). Excellent account of his life in book "Wild Bill Longley's Texas Hard Case", included with gun and a recent newspaper clipping where they exhumed his body to prove he was the one buried there.

Handles have been replaced with horn, hammer bobbed (so it won’t hand in the hostler) Ram rod removed and slicked up for fast draw. 2nd model, all operative and low 3 digit serial. Initials "W.L." and "Texas" under side of grips. Butt swivel removed. A nice I.D. D.E. addition to your LaMatt collection. (Sold 1st model for $22,000.00)

Or,, what about this one

Quote:
Although based on the 19th century revolver favored by many a general in the American Civil War, there is nothing lo-tech about the LaMat 55. And with 7 rounds of 13mm magnum and one 12 gauge shotshell, nothing low-powered. Available with Fuchi Smartlink 2.1, the first smartgun firmware with integral support of multiple ballistic performance. Accepting orders today, allow 3-6 weeks for delivery.
