I just unplugged my goldenrod, will hook it back up in march.
I have a Browning that I never use, it's been in there a few months and it's stock is cracked
No such problems from the 5 Berettas in there.

I am resurrecting an old thread because I am curious what people have been experiencing on more recent Brownings. I bought a new Citori White Lightning last year and the stock cracked at the wrist in less than 6 months. Fortunately they warrantied it, but the stock they replaced it with cracked AGAIN less than a month after I got it back. Fortunately they decided to replace my gun, but the new gun I got has a visible blemish in the stock grain that seems to have a hairline crack extending from it. Do I just have the worst luck or what? From what I understand Citoris are the most popular O/Us in the world, but I am not sure why if they are delicate little flowers. This is my first Browning, and although I am glad they have taken care of me so far, I am very disappointed. I need a reliable field gun, not something that will split in half if you look at it wrong. Any opinions?

An oldie, but a goodie!
I had my Perazzi MX 2000 crack.
I sold the gun and did not notice the cracks.
When selling I just look at the stock for dings.
I now look for cracks also!!
