Try sgw other part of classified. Someone pops up weekly usually with some shells. Thats my best shot.

Others will be along to help you soon.

You're better off buying factory shells, sending in the rebate, and making your own empties.

Might sign up for an account on Gunbroker.com, and watch their auction site. Then there's Pap Charlies which you can Google for, or like Skeet_Man just mentioned, buy factories w/ the rebate and make your own.

Better yet, if your buying hulls I would only buy Rem sts or nitro 27 hulls which are better in every way. If you buy AA hulls I would not pay more than 2 or 3 cents for them. At my club we send thousands of new style AA.s to the dump because no one can even be bothered to pick them up once fired.

Check with your local shooting club. I can get STS hulls for $0.05 each at mine.

Remington hulls don't have problems with componet fit issues as compared to AAHS hulls. Very few folks loading the HS hull anymore, my local trap club tosses them in the trash while the Remington hulls that are free for the picking go home with someone.

Perhaps a good place to start is the "Other" section of the Classifieds, right here on SGW:

WTS 12 ga AA hulls: viewtopic.php?f=73&t=295548

Bear - I guess I must be doing something wrong - Over the past 10 years I've loaded over 100K AA's (and lots of Remmy's too) and i haven't run into the component problem or the base wad problem on any of them. Having worked several DU and QU shoots where AA's are mandatory I've collected some of them and if the freight doesn't bog you down I have bags of 250 (mostly gray) for $7 plus freight - let me know.

Bear, where are you located?
The expensive part of this request is the cost of shipping.

Where I live, you'd need to be near the dumpster.
Take your time, nobody will be around for months.

I have a full bag and 1/2 of AA 12 gauge . The bags are from the wads that I buy to give you and idea. Pay the shipping and a few bucks and you can have them. Oldfolksinsnow@gmail.com HS is the same as the gunclub and so forth. No one seems to pay attention. Watch my lips-----------only HS difference is in 28 and 410. And, Listen up guys. Any straight wall hull takes a HS wad. cut them apart and see , I was a victom of the BS artists at my range till I decided to find out. If you go to a wad chart BP you will see that there is NO HS wads for 12 and 20 gauge

You are painting with way too wide of a brush.
The 12 and 20 WWAAHS hulls are different than the AACF hulls and any Remington hull. The 12 and the 20 are shorter than thos other hulls and have less internal volume. This can become important in recipe selection.
You are correct about the wad selections for the HS 12 and 20, but some of them have changed over the years, further confusing the selection of a recipe that will fit properly in the 12 and 20 HS hulls.
Yes the 28 and the 410 are straight wall hulls and require the HS wads. The ones produced by Claybuster seem to give the best fit and performance.
