I have a Beretta A300, 12ga with a fixed choke barrel. I am considering purchasing a second barrel for it with screw-in chokes. I have been doing a lot of research and am finding conflicting info. What models of Beretta shotgun barrels will fit this gun? I am pretty sure that the 301, 302, 303 and the Browning B80 barrels will fit. Is this true? What about the 390, 391 and 3901 barrels?

Barrels interchange on the AL-1, AL-2, AL-3, A300, 301, 302, 303, Browning B-80, Singer Nikko Gas Auto, and Breda Altair (earlier Italian-made Altair).

A304 barrels are unique and will not interchange with any other model.

A391 Urika, Urika 2 and Teknys barrels will interchange with each other, but not with the Xtrema nor Xtrema 2.

A390 and 3901 barrels interchange.

The 302 was the first Beretta semiautomatic with interchangeable choke tubes, and they were drop-in tubes which were held in place by an external collar. The A303 was the first model that came with screw-in MobilChokes. The Browning B-80 used Invector chokes. Therefore you will be looking for an A303 MobilChoke barrel, a B-80 Invector choked barrel, or an earlier one which has had after-market tubes installed. I do not recommend a Singer Nikko nor Breda Altair barrel as they had external threads for extended tubes, which are hard to find nowadays.

You could consider having chokes installed in your barrel. It will probably require thin-wall tubes. I suggest you contact Mike Orlen.

I use for my A300 a 302 drop-in chokes 2 3/4"/28" Barrel when needed , great choke system specialy if you like to change chokes often for sporting clays, they can be changed very fast, You can have them in 3" or in 2 3/4", the 3" will not cycle target loads.Be sure to have several of the drop-in chokes that you need as they are hard to find. The A300 is a fantasic shotgun, very reliable and easy to clean.Don't sell it , you will regret it in the future.
