I'm looking at getting an H&R Pardner Pump Compact for HD and was hoping to get some information about adding a mag extender to it. Would an 870 2 shot extender fit? Anyone have any experience with these guns?

The 870 mag extension should fit, might require some modifications, but it should fit. I would highly recommend using the factory Rem870 extension on this, it'll give you a little flexibility to allow a precise fit. Give us a call at 615-568-7901 if you have any technical questions, we've put mag extensions on just about anything

I used a Scattergun Tech/Wilson, one shot 879 extension on mine and it's great, no modification needed. Adds one round of capacity to the tube and just a bit shorter that the stock barrel. The quality is top notch and the finish matches the Pardner Pump very well.

Good luck!

A Royal Arms +1 mag extension for an 870 will fit your Pardner Protector. You will lose the OEM mag cap sling stud, though.
