I was just at Joel Etchen's and he confirmed March and he thought it could be earlier.

Thanks for posting the link! Interesting to see the balance adjustment system in the stock..... which looks similar to the Blaser design.....

Cheers

I spoke to a very reputable Beretta dealer this week and he said they would be in the $4,200 range.

I spoke with the Beretta Reps at Pheasant Fest this weekend in Minneapolis. They say the release could be late March but would more likely be April.

Here in the UK, it seems first deliveries started to arrive at the dealers this week but only in 30" and in limited numbers, most of which seem to have been snapped up quite quickly with most of the buyers being ex Gold E shooters (according to the dealer)

Ive been shooting an SV10 Prevail in 32" for the last year and very happy with the way it shoots (but hate the Xtra wood finish) so have been on the lookout for a change for a couple of months now.

I got my shortlist down to a DT10, DT11, F3 and 692 and having given them all a test drive over the last month or so the 692 felt the best (to me) overall. In terms of 'feel' the best way I can describe it is it feels like a DT11 that's been on a crash diet, woodwork is very similar to the DT11 and overall quality looks pretty good - not quite DT11 standard but it is half the price!

So after much deliberation I placed an order for mine yesterday, a 32" R/H Sporter which should arrive mid/end of April.

Iggy.

I had a backorder on a sv10 2 weeks ago. I changed it to a 32" 692 this week when I found out that the 692 would be available May or sooner. The styling of the 692 is just so pleasing to the eye, clean, and simple.

Interesting point, the US version seems to have a schnable style forend whereas the UK version has a rounded 'London style' one.

Jaqua's (I believe) have DT11s w/the 'English/European' forearm, maybe 'we' will be able to order the 692 w/one as pictured in ClayShootingUSA magazine article? Very nice, simple look. 8)

Same thing with the DT11. Almost all the UK models have the rounded forend whereas almost all US ones have a schnabel.

BTW Looks like the first 32s will be here by the weekend. I think you're being smart buying early, not only because the price is certain to head upwards, but also the wood quality will drop off once the market is established.
