Hey i have a 12 gauge shotgun that was made in Brazil and imported buy Magtech, does anyone else know anything about these guns, the wood for the stock is beautiful a real dark and rich color with a great shine and smooth finish, the barrel is like a real dark brown color of a blueing, but its so dark that you need to look at it in a good amount of light to see it. The gun works well and has been very reliable, but gun shops around my place wont take it in on trade because of the make. So does anyone have any info on these guns? Thanks

It was made by CBC , only ran about 2 years in the mid nineties, and an excellent example would be worth about $190.

xjc, I did have 2 of these, one in 20 Ga. and one in 410. The were built tough and worked well. I sold them. My boys moved up to pumps & semi-autos. They were selling for about 70-80.00 per gun. It would not be worth much in a trade. I sold them to individuals for 60.00 each.
